September is a busy month for athletics as the autumn season kicks off, but there was nothing locally this week to tempt Wesham members out with the contrasting weather conditions. This weekend sees another round in the Wesham club championships at the Pilling 10k and the start of the cross-country season with the first Mid Lancs fixture at Ulverston, and several events both at home and abroad that will feature Wesham members, especially as Rob Danson targets the Berlin Marathon again.
