Earlier this year I suggested to the Committee that it might be interesting to know how many competitive miles we run as a club each year, and who are the individuals that run the most competitive miles.  They called my bluff and told me to get on with it.

 

It was decided by the Committee that recording should start on the 1^st December so that the result would be known in time for the annual Dinner Dance.

 

All races entered by Wesham Road Runner members will count towards the total, this will include: Interclub events, Club Handicaps, Relays, XC, Road Races, Fell Races etc.

 

I will gather as many results as I can from the various websites; there is no need for you to do anything unless you notice that I have missed any of the far flung races that you enter.  If this is the case PLEASE HELP ME by letting me know.  I can be contacted by email: Richard@foxwood85.freeserve.co.uk

 

I am aware that the list of races does not appear complete; this will grow as I become aware of them. Remember, ALL RACES, as described above, count.

 

The list of members’ names on the spreadsheet is up to date as far as I am aware, if your name is missing PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

 

There may be a small prize for the individuals with the highest recorded mileage at the end of the year.

 

In case of any disagreement over the calculation of distance or total mileage the decision of the committee will be final
