Recording WRR Club 'Competitive' Miles

For the last 3 years I have tried to
record all the miles raced by members of Wesham Road Runners, this has
given us some idea of the number of members taking part in organised races, the
range of races that they attend and how many miles individuals and club members
altogether, run in total. The total mileage starts with the Liverpool XC
on the afternoon after the Wesham 10K and finishes with the Wesham 10K
the following year so that the top mileage chasers can be awarded prizes at the
Annual Presentation evening.
The information I record reaches me in a variety of ways, many members text or
email me to let me know about races they have competed in especially if they are
some distance away. I pick up most of the details from Alex's newspaper
reports and also check the results websites. I estimate that the information
takes me no more than about 2 - 3 hours / month to compile.
Due to other commitments I don't feel that I am able to continue recording the
details next year so I am asking if anyone else is willing to take this job on.
You may want to put your own slant on the way the details are recorded or
presented, it is ready for a new lease of life!
If you are interested in taking this on or just want to discuss it with me
please give me a ring on 07774 751 432 or send me an email to
runhills@hotmail.co.uk
I should also be at Carr Hill next Monday.
