WRINKLY WANDERINGS

30+ Wrinklys enjoyed a excellent Christmas meal at the Castle Gardens Inn, Carleton, Near Poulton le Fylde. It was right in the middle of the BIG Winter freeze. Although the roads and footpaths were covered by snow and deep frozen ice, not to be put off the Wrunners went on a 6+ mile Wrun, whilst the Walkers completed a 4+ mile walk. I'm sure that the cold weather made the meal that followed taste even better, (or could it have been the refreshments?).

January/February 2011

Although it wasn't an official Wrinkly Holiday, eight people enjoyed a fortnight in Tenerife. There was a thunderstorm one night followed by a day of showery weather. However, for the rest of the holiday we were blessed with temperatures in the low 70's. Just what you need to get away from the cold, dark, miserable days in the UK.

June 2011

June 2011 will see 22 Wrinklys going for a long weekend in Llandudno, (yes another holiday abroad!). Llandudno is a firm favourite destination for Wrinklys, being the forth or fifth time we have ventured there. An early morning run around the GREAT ORME is a must, whilst there.

September 2011

Turkey will be shaking in fear as 12 Wrinklys will be invading that country in September. It seems a long time off, but, as all Wrinklys know time flies by. (Tempus Fugit)
