Total raised from this year’s London marathon

for Children with Leukemia is a £2,600.10 – fantastic!!

Making a grand total for the last 5 years of

£ 12,370.10

This has been shared out between the two charities:

BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION

&

CHILDREN  WITH  LEUKEMIA

We would like to thank everyone, yet again, for their fantastic support. This is the most we have ever collected, which is incredible, due to me asking you every year for the past five years. You must all get fed up with me, especially when it comes to February, when out, once again, pops the sponsorship forms.

On a sad note, through my injury which I received at 13 miles in the marathon, (as well as the 9,000 miles of running), I am having to retire from marathons following the results of my MRI scan. It showed that I have two damaged discs and a tear in one which is pressing against the nerves in my spinal cord and causing the pain down my left leg. I am due to see the spinal specialist soon, I hope!

But on a more positive note, with the fantastic help from you all, we have raised all this money for the two charities. It will make a massive difference to people’s lives.

A massive THANK YOU to you all. Without your help we could not have done this. As they say:

Impossible is possible

Thank you all and “good bye.” I have enjoyed every minute of this journey. You are all fantastic.
