I have started running again after some
time but I will have to take it easy for the last race that I took part in was

We set off and were joined by John
Howarth and George Flanagan, all with wesham tops, except Nicola who
although in a blue top it wasn’t a wesham one, she also wore calf length Tracksters.
After 3 miles, I suggested that Nicola and Jennie left us and ran their
own race.
I continued with John and George,
until at nine miles I saw the blue top and calf length Tracksters of Nicola.
When I caught up with her, I slowed down to run with her and give her some
encouragement, but she completely ignored me, so after a while, I rejoined john
and carried on to the finish, but as we ran in to the finishing 400metresI saw
Jennie not far in front, and after going through the finishing line, I asked Jennie
what had happened to Nicola.
“Why
do you ask?” said Jennie as Nicola had
finished some time ago. So it was obviously a mistake on my part and there will
be a young lady somewhere telling the story of an ancient pervert trying to ‘chat her up’ as she ran the
