I find it hard to believe the fact that hardly anyone is coming forward to claim their Standards Badges. Quite a lot of you have achieved the required times for the four distances, some of you even meet the GOLD Standard, so why not just write down the races you got the time in and pass them to myself, or Pauline, then we can award you the appropriate badge with the club logo on and you can strike fear into your rivals when they see it proudly adorning your club jacket, or sweatshirt, (See Ian Cosh, Club Spiv). Seriously though, these awards are for all members. You can reach the standard you choose to aim for with a little hard work, and, remember, you are only racing for yourself so GOOD LUCK!
