FOR WESHAM ROAD RUNNERS MAGAZINE

Someone to take on the role of Advertising coordinator.

Job specifications:

1. To contact present advertisers, at least three weeks in advance of publication, every quarter to ask them for the next advertisement.
2. To pass on this information to Brenda, WRR Editor for processing.
3. Once the WRR Magazine has been distributed, to contact advertisers who have not paid in advance, requesting settlement of their invoices. (These invoices go out with their personal copy of the magazine.)
4. To try and obtain more adverts by either asking a business personally or acquiring the help of other club members. (This is not a hard task as WRR Business Cards will be provided and, although you may get a few “No’s, there is always the one who says “Yes please.”

This job will only take up a few hours every three months but would be a tremendous help to Brenda, WRR Publications Editor, who has to run the WRR Website on a daily basis, construct the WRR Magazine as well as designing adverts for those businesses who agree to advertise with us. Brenda will do all the paperwork, e.g. letters of explanation and advertising tariff, and will, if necessary, design adverts for those firms who do not want to do it themselves. (The adverts designed by Brenda will be sent back to the firms for their approval before going into the Magazine.) Finally Brenda will send out all the invoices.

I truly hope someone will come forward to help as it will ensure the continuation of the WRR Magazine in its present form. Advertisers play an essential part in off-setting the cost of printing the magazine. So far we have always covered this cost without going into club funds.
