Fell Championship 2008

 

Exciting news the dates for the club’s Fell Championship have been set. Last year, which was the club’s maiden voyage into fell running, we had some great experiences. Harrock Hill and Ingleborough were the two which stood out for me, for two reasons. Firstly, we had the most number of blue vests and secondly, we should have re-named Ingleborough as ‘Jack & Jill’ given that there were so many who came tumbling down, and all caught on Kirsty’s camera!

 

With it being the second year I have again tried to pick races close to home, and all are new except for Harrock Hill and Paddy’s Pole, they say ‘variety is the spice of life’ so, fell runners, let’s go spice up the fells on the following fell running club championship events:

As you can see, I have chosen eight races throughout the year, to qualify for the Fell Championship you are required to complete four of these races.

 

Presentations at the end of the year will be to the first two males and first two females.
