Much has been
said about my reports of races, particularly Cross Country. They have
been described as "creative", embellished" and "works
of pure fiction". I have even been accused of "writing them in advance".
It has also
been suggested that I have written reports without actually going to the races!!
As I can not be there on Saturday, I
wondered how I could write a factual report, in advance, and without deviating
from the truth. So, below is my report of the Leyland Cross Country on Saturday, 14th October:

this satisfies all the criteria and is the shortest report I have ever
written!!!
