Comrades
First, many thanks to all who risked contracting
trench foot at the Northern's. Apart from the mud I thought the course
was tough but fair and the weather perfect.
Regarding the Cross Country Presentation Night, I have booked the same venue as last year, Garden Centre on
Penny has agreed to maintain the price as last year, £6:50p, the menu will be as last year, Hot Pot + Red Cabbage, Beef
Lasagne + Garlic Bread, and a veggie
option, choice of sweets,
tea or coffee, the bar will also be open, I shall be taking bookings as
from now.
May I also take this opportunity to echo Alex R's sentiments of last Monday in reminding the senior men that we
are currently lurking in the drop zone of the Mid Lanc's Division 1 so I am asking for "all hands to the pump" at the two remaining mid Lanc's meetings, Hyndburn,
Saturday 14th February and Blackburn, Saturday 14th March, to stave off relegation.
Whilst on, and for all who have expressed an interest in
the Nationals,
Parliament Hill Fields, London,
Saturday 21st
February. It's looking like,
as previously, cars, or train, the option is yours as several people are making
a weekend of it. For me, I shall be driving there and back in the day.
Nostrovia
Your Dear Leader
